Wednesday's Child (novel)
Wednesday's Child is the seventh novel by crime-writer Peter Robinson, published in 1992 and is sixth in the multi award-winning Inspector Alan Banks series, and was the first of Robinson's novels to be shortlisted for the Edgar Award.
Plot summary
Meek Brenda Scupham has her child temporarily removed by authorities. They fail to actually return Gemma, causing Brenda to realize something has gone wrong. Meanwhile, Banks is investigating a murder at an abandoned mine. These cases soon converge.
